This time I will show you how I made illustrations of different animals using one illustration for the base. Doing this made it easier to finish. The base illustration had no details and was only added when worked with a selected animal. The video that I made is of me making the last two animals a raccoon and a bunny. I finished making a bear and a fox and is basically done the same way. Perhaps the down point in this style of quickly creating characters is they all look the same.
So before did everything I made a ruff drawing of each animal. Unfortunately I was not able to make a video of me making it. After did the drawing did some simple shapes to create the body of the animal. Making sure that each body part has it's own layer. This will make it easier to change the color.
I have already finished with the bear and fox. The last two animals are what you will see me create in the video. There you will be able to see how I used the body of the bear to quickly create the other 2 remaining character.
The first thing that I did was get the body of the bear. Then colored all the body part a base color and then place some gradient. When I came to the face I just copied it from the bear and past it to the next animal that I am working on. When all the body parts were done I added the shadow on the body and arms. The last thing I did was create little textures of furr by just making lines in random places.
This animals that I did is for a spring clipart. The hands of the animals are outstretched to be able to place a flower. I wanted to be able to have the option of selecting the animal that will be holding the flower or I can make this animals hold other things like balloons, ice cream cones and so much more. Perhaps will make more animals but for now I just made 4 animals.
