About
Hello! My name is Joanne an illustrator living in the Philippines. I have always enjoyed creating things. One of the things that I enjoyed doing is drawing. One of the earliest memory that made me love art was when I was in grade school. Near the end of the year different artworks that were done was chosen to be displaced to the whole school. Not all of my works was chosen to be displayed. But the works that were I felt proud that I did this. Making something out of nothing at all made me feel happy.
After grad school art became a hobby. I still did it but not that often. Then After graduating from collage I found a short course about animation I decided there and then to try it out. The course was free if you were able to pass the exam. So I tock the exam and was able to pass. After that my classmates and I were given the opportunity to enter a animation studio that was affiliated with the school we decided to go for it. Working in an animation studio is both fun and stressful. Being payed to draw was great but you have to follow the art style that was given to you. Not only that finish a certain amount of drawing with in a day can be stressful. But I learned a lot working in an animation studio.
Now days I do illustration as a freelancer. My works are mostly colorful and have a cartoon feel to it. I earn money by commissions and even place it on POD (print on demand) sits to earn money from royalties.
